Do the world's leaders really listen to youth climate activists?
Many people will have heard the speech given by the young climate change activist, Greta Thunberg, to the United Nations in New York last month. She told world leaders, "you have stolen my dreams and my childhood with your empty words". But are you familiar with the speeches of 12 year old Severn Cullis-Suzuki and 13 year old Felix Finkbeiner? Severn spoke in front of the Rio Earth Summit in 1992, while Felix spoke in front of the UN General Assembly in 2011. We brought Severn and Felix together to get their thoughts on Greta and whether their words made any impact....
