Why are so many late babies being induced?
The rate of babies being induced in the UK has gone up by more than 10 percent in the last decade. It often happens when there’s a risk of still birth due to a late delivery. So are we just becoming more risk averse? Or is there a monetary factor involved? Jane Garvey speaks to Andrew Weeks, Professor of International Maternal Health Care at the University of Liverpool.
