Almost 700 cases of alleged domestic abuse involving police officers and staff were reported in the three years to April 2018, according to Freedom of Information requests made by the Bureau of Investigative Journalism. Now an official 鈥渟uper-complaint鈥� is to be launched and central to that are at least 12 cases where women have made allegations of domestic abuse and sexual violence against an officer, only for the case to be dropped and, on occasion, for the alleged victim to be arrested and intimidated. Woman鈥檚 Hour heard from 鈥楯odie鈥�, a serving police officer who is bringing a claim against Gwent Police. She told her story to 大象传媒 Radio 5 Live鈥檚 Rory Carson.
