Woman who gave Trump the finger wins election in Virginia

Juli Briskman raised her middle finger at US President Donald Trump鈥檚 motorcade in 2017. The picture of her hand gesture went viral, but she was fired soon afterwards. Friends of Ms Briskman then launched a crowdfunding page raising over $140,000 to help the single mum of two. This week, the American woman was elected district representative in Loudoun county, in the US state of Virginia. Newsday鈥檚 Alan Kasujja asked her why she gave a one-fingered salute to President Trump鈥檚 motorcade.
