'I worry I will lose my sight while I am waiting. You kind of feel you have been left to rot.'
A woman says she fears she'll go blind while on a waiting list for cataract surgery. Dianne Thomas moved from New Zealand to Derry 15 years ago and was diagnosed with the condition in February. She says she's been told she could be on the waiting list for a year to 18 months. Cataracts are the most common cause of vision loss in people over the age of 40. Dianne has been speaking to our reporter Dean McLaughlin.
