Gallery worker wins prestigious portrait award
Michael Youds is a security guard at Scotland's National Gallery of Modern Art in Edinburgh. But when he's off duty, he spends several hours a night creating his own artworks. This year he was shortlisted for the Scottish Portrait Award in Fine Art.
Now the artist has won recognition for his efforts after winning the top award, with judges awarding the prize for his painting of himself and his twin brother.
