Maidenhead United: Club looking to leave York Road
Magpies CEO Jon Adams admits they're exploring options to leave their 148-year-old home.
The club have asked the council to consider approving plans for a new ground at Braywick Park.
"There's a lot of challenges we face in terms of [York Road]," Adams told 大象传媒 Radio Berkshire's Kirsten O'Brien and Jack Winstanley. "The club has moved forward significantly over the last five years.
"If we were ever to be in a position where we could be promoted to the Football League, we would need to significantly improve the facilities at York Road.
"There's a lot of sense in the principle of looking at Braywick Park as a sensible location to move the club to.
"We've simply asked the council to consider the principle of that first, and they'll be doing that by the end of this year."
