Yemen: We suffer from a shortage of staff and new epidemics

For almost five years, Yemen has been locked in a seemingly intractable civil war that has killed more than 10,000 people and pushed millions to the brink of starvation.

A year ago, five women in Yemen shared their stories with Newshour. Dr Najla Al Sonboli, a paediatrician in Sanaa had been working without a salary for two years to save many lives. Today, Najla and her colleagues still can't receive their full salary in the hospital, while many people have been ravaged by disease linked to massive displacement. She says that Sanaa is no longer bombed but an 'economic war' continues.
