12 killed in Nigeria's Plateau state

As unknown assailants open fire on unsuspecting locals

12 people have been killed in an attack in Nigeria's Plateau state, in a community known for its clashes over scarce resources.

Police say herdsmen are likely to be responsible, but no arrest has been made.

And in Lusaka Zambia, The business of selling coffins at the Hospital mortuary has been banned by the mayor.

He described it as insensitive and likely to traumatise patients and their loved ones.
