Bringing Cambodian silk back to life
Vannary San grew up in a poor family, and was eager to find a way to get an education and support herself financially.
She finally persuaded her parents to let her move, alone, to Phnom Penh for work and university. Many years later - and guided by her Buddhism - she has managed to launch a silk design label and a silk museum in a country that almost saw the industry disappear.
