Care home residents enjoy wheelchair ice skating

Residents from a care home in Stockton enjoyed a day out with a difference - wheelchair ice skating.
White House Care Home in Hartburn has been getting creative to improve the wellbeing and happiness of residents by taking part in unique activities such as the skating, boat trips and date nights.
They have been rated "outstanding" by the Care Quality Commission for "significantly improving" the people's "quality of life, self-esteem and meaningful connections with others living at the service".
Deputy manager Benjamin Brown, said: "It's heartwarming the response we've had from everyone, it's just been incredible."
