Super 'Dog' Bowl 54: Chiefs champion comes to rescue of Kansas City pets
The Kansas City Chiefs became Super Bowl champions for the first time in 50 years after coming from behind to beat the San Franciso 49ers in Miami last week.
And whilst star quarterback Patrick Mahomes celebrated by going to Disney World, one Chief went barking mad with his celebrations...
Derrick Nnadi, whose father comes from Nigeria, paid all the adoption fees at a Kansas City dog shelter - allowing those who wanted a new dog in their lives to take them home for free.
Derrick tells Caroline Barker how his relationship with his own dogs inspired him to help the pets of Missouri in need of a home.
