The Cornish Pirates say the RFU's decision to cut funding to Championship clubs will have no affect on the Stadium for Cornwall.

From next season, Championship teams will receive almost 50 percent less from the sport's governing body.

The Cornish Pirates, along with Coventry Rugby Club, have suggested they could even form a breakaway league.

The Pirates Chairman Paul Durkin has been speaking to 大象传媒 Radio Cornwall's Sports Producer Ross Ellis.
