Ghana's female entrepreneurs
Female entrepreneurship rates in sub-Saharan Africa is 24.9%; the highest in the world.
However, according to a 2018 MasterCard index report, women in Ghana typically turn to necessity driven entrepreneurial activities out of a sheer will to survive and support themselves and their families. This, however, is a story of three Ghanaian women operating at the top tiers of business.
