The condition is characterised by an overwhelming fear and discomfort of social situations or interactions with other people. Sometimes referred to as social phobia, social anxiety brings on feelings of self-consciousness, judgment and inferiority to those who suffer from it. The 大象传媒's Millicent Akeyo reports.
