Photographing the firefighters of Lagos
In 2007, Akintunde Akinleye won the World Press Photo Spot News prize, the first Nigerian to do so. The award recognised his work documenting the experience of firefighters tackling the huge explosions and ferocious fires caused by oil. He tells Outlook鈥檚 Abdulmalik Fahd about his prize-winning photos.
