Has Jordan got the strictest coronavirus measures?
Jordan went into a very sudden lockdown with a possible punishment of up to a year in prison for people caught out of doors. Residents there face a year in jail if they leave home for ANY reason. So, no grocery shopping, no pharmacy visits, no short walks. Michael Safi is the Guardian newspaper correspondent currently in Amman:
