Giving birth during the coronavirus pandemic
Coronavirus and social distancing measures have changed the fundamentals of life as we know it, including how we die and, at the other end of the spectrum, how we are born. Although in France there鈥檚 not yet a blanket ban on birthing partners, some pregnant women approaching their due date are being told this might change. Saskya Vandoorne is a journalist living in Paris and is expecting her first child in four weeks.
