Yemen: calls for release of Baha'i prisoners

On March 26th, a Houthi rebel leader in Yemen (President of the Houthi Supreme Political Council), Mahdi Al-Mashat, announced that six prisoners of the Baha'i Faith held in Sana'a would be released. But that hasn't happened and the Baha鈥檌 International Community is now expressing concerns. All have been imprisoned, since 2013, for their beliefs. One of them, Mr Hamed bin Haydara, who had been sentenced to death, was unconditionally pardoned. Bani Dugal is the Principal Representative of the Baha'i International Community to the United Nations. She told Razia Iqbal about the charges against them.
