Bangladesh garment sector aims for recovery
As clothes shops reopen in some places Bangladesh鈥檚 garment sector hopes to recover. Factories there were hit hard by cancelled orders at the peak of lockdowns around the world, and Rubana Huq, president of the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association tells us whether her members are receiving new orders now. And Rob Wayss, executive director of the Accord on Fire and Building Safety discusses the work his organisation is doing to ensure the safety of garment workers from coronavirus.
