George Floyd: Tennis stars put their rackets down and their hands up in protest
Like many people across the United States, tennis players Ayan Broomfield and Frances Tiafoe wanted to add their voice to protests in response to the killing of George Floyd. They chose to put their rackets down and their hands up in a familiar gesture that has been seen at rallies over recent years.
They requested that others join them and were followed by some of the world's best players, including Serena Williams, Naomi Osaka, Ga毛l Monfils, all raising their hands. Ayan Broomfield and Frances Tiafoe explain the campaign.
