The family and friends of George Floyd - the African-American man killed while being detained by police in Minneapolis last week - have being paying their tributes at his memorial service.

They spoke of achieving justice in his name and how his story had touched the hearts of so many across the world.

Large crowds listened outside the North Central University chapel as the service was broadcast over loudspeakers.
