Celebrating midwinter in the Antarctic
Antartica is the one continent with no reported cases of Covid-19 yet and where isolation is a way of life. It's the site of three research stations of the British Antarctic Survey and teams have a particular way of marking the shortest day of the year. Rothera station leader Matthew Phillips describes what happens at midwinter, on June 21st.
