Sailing 11,000 km to see my 90-year-old father
Juan Manuel Ballestero is from a family of sailors so, when he found himself stuck in Portugal thousands of kilometres from home because of the coronavirus lockdown, he did what came naturally: he jumped on a boat.
His father was about to turn 90 in Argentina so he didn't waste any time preparing. He just took lots of food... and even forgot to pack any medicine.
He told us about his incredible journey.
"It was really myself and the whole universe... at night there was a lot of stars and sometimes the dolphins would come at night too so they streaked the ocean with green fluorescent light."
