Danielle Gudger - Saving lives in lockdown
Danielle Gudger has faced new challenges as a midwife at University Hospitals Leicester during the Covid-19 pandemic.
She describes how she has provided physical and emotional support for women as they are limited to having only one person from a single household at birth.
Danielle's use of PPE has also had a 'massive bearing' on her role, she says it's been quite 'alienating' for the women.
The midwife has also had success on social media dressed as Mary Poppins singing a parody of the song 'Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious'. The video encourages people to wash their hands and socially distance.
