Jimmy Flores says he didn't take coronavirus seriously. Then he contracted it himself...

The 30-year-old from Tempe, Arizona ended up sharing drinks at a busy bar while out with friends on a Saturday night. He came down with a fever, sores and flu-like symptoms the following Monday and ended up spending eight days in hospital being treated for coronavirus.

He admits he didn’t appreciate the risk the virus posed to young people like himself. And after blogging every day from hospital to spread awareness of how ill he was from Covid-19, he wants to encourage more Americans to wear masks and practice social distancing.
