Sudan: Bashir's trial over 1989 coup begins

Omar al-Bashir was overthrown last year.

A trial of the former president of Sudan, Omar al-Bashir, has started in the capital Khartoum. He is facing charges over the military coup that brought him to power in 1989.

LGBTQI+ refugees at one of the world鈥檚 largest refugee camps, Kakuma in North West Kenya, say they live under constant harassment and vicious attacks from other refugees, local security, police and the local community.
