Iran鈥檚 morality police in the spotlight over spitting at teenage girls

A video captured on the streets of Tehran has gone has gone viral, putting Iran's 'morality police' in the spotlight.

The video shows a member of the force verbally assaulting and spitting at a group of teenage girls. Claiming one wasn't wearing the hijab correctly.

The officer's wife asks the girl to apologise to him.

Following a small clip from the video, Iranian journalist Masih Alinejad explains why she is encouraging women to use their camera phones to expose the way they are treated by the morality police.
