Wole Soyinka protests the imprisonment of detainee Mubarak Bala
The Nobel Laureate Wole Soyinka has written a letter of solidarity to the detained Nigerian humanist Mubarak Bala who has been in detention since April, accused of posting critical comments of Islam. Although he was arrested in Kaduna state, he's been taken to neighbouring Kano. Mubarak Bala hasn't been heard from since. Wole Soyinka explains why he's lent him this public support.
