The US Democratic presidential candidate, Joe Biden, has selected the California Senator, Kamala Harris, as his running mate for November's election. Ms Harris is the first black woman on a major presidential ticket in US history.

Suzan Johnson Cook worked on both Barack Obama's and Hillary Clinton's campaigns. So what does this moment mean to her as a black woman?
