Racing car dream for boy who beat cancer
A boy from Melton achieved his dream to drive in a race car, seven years after his dad promised he would, when he was diagnosed with cancer aged just two.
He had to endure three years of intense hospital treatment after being diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia in 2013. He beat the disease after having a bone marrow transplant.
Oscar who is now nine years old, hasn't just driven a race car as a one off… he's been racing in it!
Oscar and dad Ryan spoke to ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Leicester's Jimmy Carpenter.
