From jobless to selling leaf art of famous people
When the coronavirus struck the Philippines, Mary Mae Dacanay lost her job and her life was turned upside down, like many low income workers around the world. But the 23-year-old came up with a unique new source of income - turning leaves into art. Ms Dacanay picks leaves from trees outside her home, intricately cutting away tiny pieces to reveal well-known faces. From her home in the south eastern province of Laguna, she describes how it all started.
