Trying to feed a family in South Africa
More than two million people have lost their jobs in the second quarter of the year in South Africa during the country鈥檚 coronavirus lockdown. Lusisindo Malgas is a young father living in Cape Town who is tackling joblessness with a touch of humour on his placards.
He stands at traffic lights with funny slogans like 鈥淣eed petrol 4 my Porsche鈥, 鈥淟et鈥檚 do lunch, u buy鈥 or 鈥淲ill cut Malema鈥檚 hair for R20鈥. Despite a patchy mobile connection, Mr Malgas managed to explain to 大象传媒 Newsday how this all came about.
