A grandson's 'sweet' way to help people with Alzheimer's
One of the side effects faced by people with dementia is severe dehydration - because many forget or struggle with managing to drink. After his grandmother ended up in hospital because of dehydration, 26-year-old Lewis Hornby decided to hunt for a solution - and has now produced special sweets which can replace much of the liquid patients are missing.
