Could outdoor swimming help slow dementia?
Could cold water swimming protect the brain from degenerative diseases like dementia? Researchers in the UK studied a group of winter swimmers and found they had higher levels of a 'cold shock' protein. Doctor Ann Robinson explains how the protein has been shown to slow the onset of dementia in mice.
