Remembering Leicester's 'forgotten' blitz 80 years on

Exactly 80 years ago today, 108 people were killed when German planes dropped bombs on Leicester.

It was city's worst day of the Second World War and the night time raid became known as the Leicester Blitz.

The area around Highfields was badly damaged and took years to rebuild.

Andy Trigg has been speaking to 90-year-old Mary Maynard who was living along London Road at the time.
