Bringing people together from our different cultures and communities in Suffolk.

This weeks show begins with Bal Howard, who shares her own life story, she is keen to be the voice of the victims and survivors who experience abuse rooted in the name of honour, giving practical and emotional support. This can be triggering for listeners and Bal will offer guidance and support if needed. She raises awareness with agencies to reduce the isolation of victims and to increase reporting. 17 year old Josh Freemantle talks about a new documentary he has made ' Life in Lowestoft' which he hopes will act as a way of raising pride in the Suffolk Town. We hear from Singer Songwriter Cherise Phillips, who discusses her own experiences of being a single mother and some of the challenges and also the resilience she has shown in this tough year, lastly BDK aka KEL FX , renowned local Break-dancer, comes on to talk about her dancing and the fact that this art form is now in the Olympics, all this and a sprinkle of the weekly feature 'Words of Wellbeing' throughout the show. submitted by the people of Suffolk.
