Saving orphaned chimpanzees in Liberia
Sixty-two orphaned Liberian chimps are to get a new home, thanks to James and Jenny Desmond - an American couple who have leased a small forest to resettle the orphaned chimpanzees.
The couple are the co-founders of the Liberia Chimpanzee Rescue and Protection charity, and they have been raising dozens of youngsters whose parents have been killed by hunters.
James Desmond told 大象传媒 Newsday why he and his wife Jenny decided to buy land to resettle the young chimpanzees?
