Italian families file negligence lawsuit over politicians Covid response
There have been more than 70,000 coronavirus related deaths in Italy - the highest toll in Europe.
In Lombardy, relatives of some Covid-19 victims have filed a lawsuit against leading politicians in the region where the pandemic ran riot earlier this year. They argue that lockdown measures weren't brought in quick enough.

Stefano is now acting as Vice President of Noi Denunceremo (We Will Report), a group for bereaved relatives. He told us why they are bringing the lawsuit against local officials.
