How will the Pope's Christmas Eve Mass be different in times of Covid?
Every year, the Pope holds his Christmas Eve Mass at St Peter's Basilica in Vatican City with thousands of worshippers, followed by his traditional blessing and message in St Peter's square.
This year is going to be very different. Italy has entered a stringent lockdown aimed at reversing the rapid rise in coronavirus cases.
Joshua McElwee, Vatican Correspondent for America's National Catholic Reporter, explains how the mass will adapt to the pandemic.
