UK boy honours neighbour and raises 拢100,000
An English boy who has slept outside in a tent for 280 days (and shows no sign of stopping) has raised more than 拢100,000 ($135,000) for a hospice for terminally ill patients. He's been camping out in his family's garden every night since the UK's first Coronavirus lockdown in March. Max Woosey, who's 11, was inspired by his elderly neighbour Rick who gave have him a tent shortly before he died in the hospice in February. Rick's wife Sue was also cared for by the same hospice. Max Woosey told 大象传媒 Newsday why he was continuing to sleep in his tent despite the nights getting increasingly colder.
