Food parcels: 'I wouldn't say it would hit more than a fiver'
A Leicester woman has told 大象传媒 Radio Leicester it's put her in a humiliating position to complain about the contents of food hampers she received instead of receiving free school meals. Danielle (not her real name) told Jimmy Carpenter the food parcels which should contain 拢30 of food for the week, for her two children, contained ingredients which she estimates cost around 拢5.
Leicestershire County Council who administers the scheme says it'll investigate 'immediately'.
