Grieving sister describes tragic loss of her brother to Covid 19
We were told 20,000 deaths from coronavirus would be a "good result". On the 11th of November 2020, the UK had recorded 50,000 deaths.
In just eleven weeks that figure has doubled. More than 100,000 people have now died, from coronavirus, in the UK, every one a personal tragedy.
860 of those deaths are in Dorset. On 20th January 2020, Lance Mills from Weymouth lost his battle against the virus at Dorset County Hospital, after becoming unwell at the end of last year. He was just 34 years of age.
Lance loved to entertain, whether singing, playing darts or poker. His sister Leanne Mills and some of his friends told 大象传媒 Radio Solent reporter Laurence Herdman about him.
