Ambulance service sees a rise in assaults on its staff
South Western Ambulance Service says its staff experienced 50 incidents of violence and aggression from patients and other members of the public between Christmas Eve and New Year鈥檚 Day. This is an 85% increase compared to the same period a year before.
James Hanson spoke to Mike Jones, a paramedic and the violence reduction lead for the service.
