'I feel disrespected as a victim of the Troubles'
A Strabane woman whose father was murdered in a sectarian gun attack in 1987 says she feels "disrespected as a victim of the troubles" after hearing about loyalist seriel killer Michael Stone's release from prison in the media. Last year a legal challenge that would have prevented Stone applying again for early release was dismissed by the Court of Appeal. It is understood Parole Commissioners took the decision last Monday and he was freed from Maghaberry Prison this day last week. Before now, he had not been due for release until 2024, having failed in an earlier parole bid.
