'We need everybody to create an impactful change, this can't just be a black community issue'

February marks Black History Month across North America, and we are hearing from sports men and women about the issues that still exist around race - and how their experiences have shaped their identity.

Portland Thorns and USA World Cup winner Crystal Dunn, whose desire to support other Black soccer players has led her to forming the Black Players Collective.

She's been telling Maz Farookhi what her hopes and aspirations for the organisation are - but first what it was like getting into a sport which isn't traditionally one played by Black women in her country.
