With a sound anchored as much in jazz and grime as it is in post-punk and hip-hop, North London artist, poet and rapper Natty Wylah (aka Nathan Graham) offers something unique and ear-catching.

Drawing inspiration from artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Lee Perry, The Clash, Neil Young and Nina Simone, Natty was surrounded by an eclectic mix of sounds growing up. Introduced to punk and jazz by his mother and dub, reggae and rocksteady by his father, Natty is certainly not afraid to break the rules with his slick beats.

After making his first recording on a PlayStation app with some friends, he began crafting beats with the collective Revival Records. His most recent release is mixtape 'Bruce', which is an impressive collection of tracks showcasing his intuitive lyrics, slick bars and honeyed beats. Named after Asian-American icon Bruce Lee, the project celebrates the importance of breaking down stereotypes.

Natty earned his first spin on 大象传媒 Music Introducing in London back in October 2019 and continues to impress with every upload. With support from the likes of Gilles Peterson, Jamz Supernova, Toddla T and Don Letts, this is an artist who's making waves in the local scene and beyond and we can't wait to see what comes next.
