Suez Canal: How long will the mega-ship take to shift?
The Ever Given mega-container ship is still blocking the Suez Canal after running aground. The canal, which separates Africa from the Middle East and Asia, is one of the busiest trade routes in the world, with about 12% of total global trade moving through it. Jacob Guldager, Local Director of Leth Agencies in Copenhagen, explains how, with hundreds of ships already queueing up, this could impact all our lives owing to the volume of goods being stuck in the tailback.
