Myanmar: security forces target funerals
Myanmar's security forces opened fire on funeral mourners on Sunday - a day after killing at least 114 protesters in the bloodiest crackdown on the demonstrations against the military coup. A number of children were amongst the dead. More funerals are scheduled for today.
Foreign governments around the world criticised the junta for the weekend's violence.
We spoke to an activist in Yangon - we didn't name him to protect his safety.
"The military junta has never changed their playbook of oppressing their own people but we are determined to move forward... to ask the military to refrain from their power and to work with the people for sake of democracy and freedom for everyone."
