Last week the Arkansas Senate and House voted to ban gender-affirming care for trans youth. But today Governor Asa Hutchinson vetoed this bill, and believes that it will be appealed. Now Alabama is in the spotlight, which will soon vote on whether to criminalise gender-affirming care for trans youth, and whether to ban trans women/girls from women’s sports. Joining us from East Central Alabama is Jeff Walker, and his daughter Harleigh, who stand to be affected if these bills come to pass.
